Capcom has released two new gameplay videos for DmC: Devil May Cry today.
The franchise is getting a reboot next year by Ninja Theory, the developer that brought us Heavenly Sword and Enslaved. The first is entitled 'The Fight' and shows our new Dante using his guns and swords to dispatch a small group of enemies. The second trailer, 'The Escape', shows that sometimes running will be your only option when the environment itself turns into an enemy.
Continue after the break to check them both out and let us know what you think in the comments.
This particular piece of footage for the upcoming Hitman Absolution has been floating around the internet for quite a while but today an extra twist has been added on. The video features almost seventeen minutes of gameplay from the "Run For Your Life" mission and shows off everything that makes a Hitman game including stealth, combat, disguises and more. In addition to the regular gameplay the video also features full developer commentary from Game Director Tore Blystad and Gameplay Director Christian Elverdam. The two give a nice look behind the scenes at what new things are coming to the series as well as how they're improving on the standard Hitman formula.
Hitman Absolution is scheduled for release in 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
So some news broke last week that for the Xbox 360 version of EA's Battlefield 3 there is a special install that players are recommended to do before playing. By installing the HD Texture Pack, which clocks in at 1.5 GB, you will get the best looking experience. Without the install the textures in the game will look worse.
Today WikiGameGuides has released a video comparing the two options and the results are probably worse than anyone expected. Remember in games like Gears of War when the textures didn't load right away and you got that muddy, pixelated object before the real texture pops in? Yeah that's what Battlefield 3 looks like without the extra install. If you're planning to play Battlefield 3 on Xbox 360 and you don't have a hard drive you should be prepared for one ugly experience.
The first piece of downloadable content for the hit title Deus Ex Human Revolution is coming out sometime this month and we have a brand new walkthough video to keep you busy while you wait. In this video you'll see some of the new environments and dangers that Adam Jensen will be facing in the new DLC.
Check out the video below and keep your eyes peeled for the Missing Link later this month.
There is no doubt that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the most ambitious titles ever. Bethesda Softworks is already famous for putting out massive titles like Oblivion and Fallout 3 and Skyrim seems to be upping the ante once again. With the brand new Creation engine the game is looking better and offers tons of gameplay upgrades that should make it the best Elder Scrolls game yet.
For those of you that need as much Skyrim information as you can get, I have great news for you. Bethesda just released their behind closed doors gameplay demo that they've been showing off at shows like E3, PAX and QuakeCon. The footage, which clocks in at over 20 minutes, is nothing short of amazing and shows all kinds of new features like dual-wielding, dragon battles, skill progression, conversation and puzzles.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim comes out on November 11 (11-11-11) for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This lengthy video is split into three parts with the first one below and the last two past the break. Enjoy.
There's certainly a lot of hype surrounding id Software's upcoming title, RAGE. Most of this hype is based around the sprawling single player campaign with multiple quests, locales and plenty of varied enemies to shoot. However RAGE is also bringing other cool modes including a fun multiplayer component and co-op, the focus of RAGE's latest video.
The cooperative mode in RAGE isn't quite what some people might expect. Instead of allowing you to bring a buddy along for your 20 hour ride through the story mode, co-op will instead offer various missions that you can embark on with a friend. The mission shown off in this new video shows two players working together to disarm bombs within a time limit. The video also shows off split-screen play for all you couch co-op players out there.
RAGE hits physical and digital shelves on October 4 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Check out the brand new co-op trailer below.
You want to play Diablo III. You dream about it at night and loot cubicles at the office just to get your fix. But guess what. You can't play Diablo III. How about some video and screenshots?!?
Force Strategy has put together some footage and screenshots from the beta's character creator. Take a look and realize that this means that yes, you are one step closer to playing Diablo III. Patience is a virtue my friend.
Sometimes I forget how much I love the Mass Effect franchise. Months will go by and everything is fine. Then I see a video and withdrawals begin to set it. The need to replay Mass Effect 2 takes over. The good folks at Bioware and EA were nice enough to torture me again today with their latest video for Mass Effect 3, Squad Leader.
Check out the latest gameplay video where the ME1 crew of Shepard, Garrus and Liara battle some Cerberus mercenaries and an Atlus heavy mech.
