Golf Rat has been predicting it for years but today it has finally come true. This week on Talking About Gamers join Robbiejo, Forgetfool and Golf Rat as we welcome TAG's newly appointed Community Manager Samantha a.k.a. Pwncess. We get to know a little bit about what makes Samantha tick as well as a lengthy discussion about what it means to be a girl gamer.
We also have plenty of games to discuss on this episode but none has us more excited than the Mass Effect 3 demo, with talk about both the single player and multiplayer portions. We also discuss the Binary Domain demo, Warp and take a little trip back in time by discussing Assassin's Creed Revelations and Alan Wake. In news we discuss some upcoming games that received solid release dates and go over the recently announced Gears of War 3 DLC.

Gamers have been blessed in recent months with massive role playing games to keep us busy. We've all enjoyed the giant that is Skyrim but 2012 has already brought out two time sinks with Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. This week join Robbiejo, Forgetfool, Golf Rat and guest Larry aka Bluemanrule as we discuss these two big RPGs. One of them is even declared as an early Game of the Year contender!
There are also some other games to discuss including NeverDead, Twisted Metal and Syndicate. Golf Rat also got his hands on the Vita for a test run and has a lot to say about it. We also discuss the week's big Double Fine news and how could we talk about big RPGs without mentioning Mass Effect 3?

In a week filled with little actual news and even less new games, it seems people have resorted to spreading rumors. On this episode of Talking About Gamers join Robbiejo, Forgetfool, Golf Rat and guest Patriot as we discuss the latest rumors circling around Microsoft this past week. The giant rumor is the supposed launch of the next-gen Xbox in 2013. We talk about the feasability of this happening, discuss the alleged power of the system and decide whether Microsoft would really put in a measure to disable used games. We also talk about the recent rumors of Microsoft Points going away.
In other topics Forgetfool has more games to report on including Need for Speed The Run and Dustforce. We also discuss the XBLA House Party prices, Insomniac leavine the Resistance franchise and Kingdoms of Amalur's online pass.

We're done talking about all the great games of 2011 and that can mean only one thing: we're looking forward to 2012. This week on Talking About Gamers join Robbiejo, Forgetfool, Golf Rat and guest Nemesis Prime as we go over what we are looking forward to in gaming for 2012.
There's so many games discussed in this episode that it would be practically impossible to mention them all. From heavy hitters like Mass Effect 3 and Bioshock Infinite to smaller games like Prey 2 and Syndicate, we talk about everything we're looking forward to playing. We also make predictions for the success of the PlayStation Vita and Wii U and guess at whether we'll see any other consoles announced this year.

It's the podcast you've all been waiting for. Talking About Gamers 3rd Annual Game of the Year show! We're counting down your choices for the top ten games of 2011, including the crowning of the Community Game of the Year. There's a lot of great games in the list and we spend plenty of time talking about why these games belong among the best of 2011. We also take some time to discuss some other notable titles from the year that, while not good enough to make the top ten, still deserved to be in the conversation.

This week on Talking About Gamers we have two guests on and plenty of games to discuss. Join Robbiejo, Forgetfool and guests Action Boo and Radical Defect as we spend much time discussing Nintendo games and Nintendo in general. Naturally the main topic of this show is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword but we also have some discussion about both Super Mario 3D Land and Kirby's Return to Dream Land. In addition to all this talk is a lengthy discussion on Assassin's Creed Revelations.
With all the talk about Nintendo games the show progressed along into several discussions about Nintendo's current state as well as where we see them going in the near future with the 3DS and the Wii U. There's plenty of disagreement and ideas about what will happen with Nintendo.

This week on Talking About Gamers the hosts have been too busy playing Skyrim to dive into any of the big releases from the past week like Assassin's Creed, Saint's Row or Halo. Instead join Robbiejo and Forgetfool as we continue to discuss The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in an informal conversation. There isn't any real direction or outline for this episode, just a casual discussion on Skyrim and a little a bit of Assassin's Creed talk.
Thank you for listening and please enjoy this special rambling episode of Talking About Gamers!

This week is a tale of two games. There were two major releases this week and they couldn't be any more different. One game is all about fast action, giant explosions and huge set pieces. The other is about discovery, character building and atmosphere. Join Robbiejo, Forgetfool, Golf Rat and Faitios as we tackle Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
With Modern Warfare 3 we have yet another entry in the series that is breaking sales records. We tackle the single player, co-op and have a long discussion about all the changes in the multiplayer. On the opposite side is Skyrim where we talk about how huge and believable the world is and the many improvements to the combat, quests and more. We also have a couple other topics including early impressions of Rayman Origins, October NPDs and the sales of the Nintendo 3DS.

We have an epic podcast this week on Talking About Gamers. Join Robbiejo, Golf Rat and guests KatanaSquirrel and Mewho. You even get a special appearance of Forgetfool halfway through the show. We have plenty of games to discuss this week but none are bigger than Uncharted 3. Does Drake's third adventure live up to the high mark set by Uncharted 2? If you've been following our hosts on twitter you probably already know the answer.
We also have plenty of other games to discuss including Batman: Arkham City, League of Legends, House of the Dead and Infamous: Festival of Blood. We also get really deep into a discussion about Online Passes, both where they came from and where they're going in the future. Just when you think we're almost done we remember the Grand Theft Auto V trailer and get into a healthy discussion about what we want out of Rockstar's next title.
