Microsoft and Infinity Ward have just announced the existence of a Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Xbox 360 console. According to majornelson.com, the package will include the custom designed console shown above, a 250 GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, and a standard version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for $399.99.

Amazon already has it listed for pre-order and it should also be available for pre-order at your local retailer tomorrow. Not a bad deal if you have resisted the urge to pick up the Xbox 360 Elite at its new price of $299.99. I'd rather spend the money on the deluxe edition of Warfare 2, the one with the night goggles. I won't lie. I had tried to get the Limited Edition Red Elite earlier this year, but it was out of stock by the time I could afford it.
