The latest game in the God of War series has been given a release date. Ghost of Sparta is coming to the Playstation Portable on November 2nd. Apart from a simple release date the official Playstation blog also highlighted a hefty pre-order bonus and details about the PSP bundle.
By pre-ordering Ghost of Sparta (from participating retailers) you will receive the original soundtrack, PSP and PS3 themes, a PSN avatar, the "Legionnaire" skin and an exclusive Game Directors Documentary. This has to be the largest pre-order bonus I've ever seen. Usually stuff like this is included in some kind of special edition version not just for a simple pre-order.
For any God of War fans out there without a PSP then the God of War: Ghost of Sparta Entertainment Pack is probably right up your alley. For $199.99 you will receive a special black and red PSP-3000, a Ghost of Sparta UMD, a voucher code to download God of War: Chains of Olympus, a UMD of the movie Kick-Ass and a 2GB memory stick.
Sony is treating God of War: Ghost of Sparta just like any retail God of War and any fan of Kratos out there has a lot of stuff to look forward to come November.
