Atlus has announced a new entry in the Metal Slug series entitled Metal Slug XX for the PSP. This new entry will bring back the side-scrolling, run-and-gun gameplay of previous titles in the series. You can play as Marco, Tarma, Fio, Eri, Ralf, and Clark as they return to once again take on General Morden and his new and improved Rebel Army. There will be seven levels and over 70 mission-based trials to tackle solo or through 2 player ad hoc local co-op.
