Those familiar with Activision Blizzard's track record when it comes to releasing games know that the company has a tendency to release games only when they are ready. Armed with that knowledge, it comes as no surprise that StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty has been pushed back to the "first half of 2010."
According to Activision Blizzard, the delay is due to Battle.net, which is the company's multiplayer online gaming service. Bobby Kotick, Activision's CEO, stated that "Battle.net is integral to the Starcraft 2 experience" and that the service will be ready "early next year."
StarCraft 2 will probably be one of the biggest game releases on the PC next year. How does the TAG community feel? Are you guys looking forward to some StarCraft 2 muliplayer game nights?
