The first six months of 2010 are quickly becoming crowded in terms of game releases. Today brings word that Bayoneta, a third-person action game in the vein of Devil May Cry, has slipped into January 2010.

It may be crazy to think about, but could Bayonetta be in danger of being overlooked considering the volume of highly anticipated titles coming out early next year?  Only time will tell, but who would have thought we would ever have this problem, considering the industry's history of focusing on the holiday season?
