Hideo Kojima's GDC 2009 keynote speech is going on right now, even as we're typing this up. Don't worry, you're just missing a lengthy retelling of the history of the Metal Gear genesis, and nothing truly spectacular.
But last night, IGN had a chance to sit down with the legendary brains behin the Metal Gear franchise, talking to him about what he's doing post-MGS and whether or not he'd started work on anything new. Kojima was, unremarkably, reluctant to say anything revealing, although he did let IGN know that he was already hard at work on a new game. When asked about what it might be, Kojima responded with this:
An official game announcement will be made at E3
Two months, kids. It's two more months until you find out what Hideo Kojima is working on next.
