Pictured above: How we randomly select winners
We asked you to tell us what your magic ability would be in Skyrim and you all delivered. However, there can only be…well, in this case, two. Our two randomly selected winners are “modeps” and “triacid”. You have both been sent messages through TAG Social with your Steam codes.

As I’m sure you all know, we are still in the process of giving away two copies of Skyrim. Even if you don’t have a PC, you could still get something free from your friends at TalkingAboutGames.com. You see, we just got a whole bunch of codes for the private Starhawk beta for the PS3, which begins next week.
These codes do not go active until next week, but you can win a code from us RIGHT NOW! Yes, that is how awesome we are. Simply leave a comment in this article telling us your favorite multiplayer game. The first fifty registered members of TalkingAboutGames.com to comment will win a code. If you don’t win one right away, don’t worry. We will be giving more away next week.
Again, these codes do NOT go active until Tuesday, December 6, so don't worry about downloading the beta until then. This contest is for North America only, and please be sure to read our contest rules before entering.
Update: One code per person. Entering multiple times will NOT get you multiple codes.
Good luck! |

Do you love shouting? What about dragons? Well, in the realm of Skyrim you can have both. “But Addam, I don’t actually own a copy of Skyrim on my PC?” Well, fear not! We are here to help you.
We want to know if you could summon any magic power by using a dragon shout from Skyrim, what it would be and why. You simply need to be a member of TalkingAboutGames.com and tell us in the comment section for this article and you will be entered to win. On Wednesday, December 7 we will randomly select two winners to receive a Steam code for Skyrim. Be sure to read our contest rules before you enter.
Good luck!
(Update) We have our winners! Congratulations to "modeps" and "triacid". |

Well this is awkward. When we run a content, we usually get the opportunity to stomp out people's dreams. We don't want to sound like jerks; it's just part of the deal. There are winners, and there are losers. There's really nothing we can do about it.
But today, apparently the wheels have fallen off the giveaway train. Today there are no losers... just like in teeball! Well, minus the ice cream sandwiches after the game. Sorry, TAG's budget is tight these days.
We had 50 Medal of Honor beta codes to give away. And with only 42 entries, that means everyone is a winner. Doesn't that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?
The "lucky" winners will have their codes sent to them via PM in our forums. For those of you who didn't win a code, well, it's your own fault. Can't blame the luck of the draw on this one. Hopefully we'll see you in our entry pool next time around.

For our first trick, TAG will make a copy of Disciples III disappear. Okay, maybe "disappear" isn't the right word. But we'll make it vanish from our vault and surface in your Steam account. That still counts as magic, right? Right?!
Today, we're excited to say that zombie_inc is our lucky recipient of a download code for Akella's turn-based strategy game. He'll be receiving his code via PM in our forums, so he can get started with his free prize right away.
If you weren't fortunate enough with this giveaway, don't you worry. We promise we'll have plenty more free stuff to dole out in the future. After all, we do love you.

We sometimes feel like the PC market is a bit neglected here at TAG. But if you're a frequent consumer of Steam content, fret not. Today, TAG is happy to say we've got something for you, too.
We're excited to give away a full copy of Disciples III, the PC turn-based strategy game from Akella. It's a genre that isn't touched on much these days, but if you consider yourself a connoisseur of the turn-based medium, this is right up your alley.
To enter, just leave a note in the comments section below letting us know what your favorite turn-based title of yesteryear is. Wax nostalgic on us, folks. How deep into your geek closet can you dig for your favorite game in the genre?
On Thursday, July 29th at 12:00PM PDT, we'll randomly pick one entry to receive the Steam download code for Disciples III. The winner will receive a PM on our forums with the download code.
Ready, set, go! Begin contest!

Remember when we gave away twenty download codes for the Medal of Honor beta? Good times. In fact, we had so much fun with that, we thought we'd try another round of giveaways.
Now, Talking About Games is happy to say that we have come into possession of fifty beta codes for the upcoming blockbuster shooter. Haven't had any good fortune with previous giveaways? Well, this may be your lucky day. These codes are good for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 versions of the beta, so no worries if you live in a one-console household.
To enter, just leave a post in the comments section below telling us what you think the "next step" is for first-person shooters on consoles. What do you think will be the next big breakthrough in the genre? Where do you think developers need to break new trail to advance the medium?
On Friday, July 30th at 12:00PM PDT, we'll randomly pick fifty commenters to receive codes for the beta test. If you're one of the lucky few, we'll send you a PM in our forums so you can get cracking at the new hotness in the MoH franchise.
So what the heck are you waiting for? Get at it! |

You know, for the past few days we've sat around watching the onslaught of beta code giveaways for the upcoming shooter from Electronic Arts, Medal of Honor. Normally, it's pretty entertaining to just sit back and watch the fireworks as everyone scrambles to retweet every little message about the forthcoming blockbuster. But since everyone seems to so up in arms about the game, we figured we'd get in on the action, too.
The fine folks over at EA were kind enough to drop 20 codes for the MoH beta in our Inbox this afternoon. And while we've all been known to suffer from selfish motivations at times, we thought it would be nice of us to share the wealth. After all, y'all can be pretty cool sometimes.
If you'd like to dip your hand into our proverbial cookie jar, the process is pretty easy. Just leave a comment on this article telling us which Medal of Honor game of yore was your favorite and why it sits at the top of your MoH hierarchy. But be quick about it, because we're only going to run this contest for 24 hours. That means at 12:00pm PDT tomorrow, we'll choose 20 random comments to receive the prized beta code.
