10 things to do while XBOX LIVE is down
So all day today, you won't be able to frag opponents on Halo, get destroyed by a helicopter in COD:4, or have a fun Xbox Live Picture Party with your friends. No, today, Xbox LIVE will be down all day. I know, take a moment of silence. Now many of you are probably thinking, "Man Holy Hitman, what ever can I do to make my day worth while now that Xbox LIVE isn't working?" Well, fear not faithful gamers, for I am about to bestow ten things that you can do today to occupy your precious time. Thank me after the jump.

Project Natal - Part 1
So many times in the gaming industry, we hear the word "revolutionize". Most of the time, it is just building on something that was already there and improving it just a little bit so that it seems new. Other times, companies may venture into a new field and test the waters, sometimes failing horribly, like the exercise bike for the SNES, and other times, it will be a huge success, like the Wii. Now, Microsoft wants to push the boundaries of gaming a little bit further, and go where the Wii was technologically incapable of going. Bring in Project Natal. Unveiled at E3, it probably left most of you with your jaw hanging wide open, and probably caused a few "no ways" to come out as well. I know it did for me. But will people actually buy into Project Natal? Will it be the downfall of the controller, and be the next step into a true virtual reality? Microsoft sure thinks so, but I might not be so ready to jump on the bandwagon just yet. Part 1 is going to be a more broad overview of what Project Natal is, what has been shown so far, and the potential Project Natal has shown us thus far. Hit the jump to dive into the futuristic goodness!

The Weekly Rant IX
Four months. Four long, grueling months since I have updated my blog. A lot has happened in four months. But do you want to hear about that? Of course not faithful readers, we have games to talk about!...but I might stray into a little bit of it anyway ;) In this edition, I'm going to cover some this and thats and then we're diving straight into the content that you care about. Left 4 dead 2, already? Psyched or bummed, hear my reactions to the E3 news. Halo 3: OSDT costs how much? Really? It can't be true...but it is. Will it be worth the money? This and maybe a bit more inside this edition of The Weekly Rant. |
